I wrote Gears of Uriel and Tyrian because of some important spiritual changes that happened in my life. I left organized religion, one my family had followed for generations, and began an individual spiritual journey. It’s been a great adventure, one that brings gratitude and personal fulfillment. Because it’s brought happiness, I wish to share it, but I would not be so bold as to tell anyone to follow my path, because everyone’s journey is different. And so, rather than direct anyone specifically, I chose the metaphor of an illuminated bridge, suggesting that a journey toward enlightenment could begin by crossing a boundary previously thought impassable.
And so, Gears of Uriel, Tyrian, and Occam’s Laser II: The Return of Pandora are the trilogy of the Luminous Bridges series.
Cross the luminous Bridge. Your own path is waiting on the other side.
